GU (Gauhati University) PG Merit List 2018

Every year the university conducts the entrance examination for various PG course. After completion of examinations, the Gauhati University will declare the GU PG Merit List 2018. The merit list will be declared on July 25th, 2018. After declaring the merit list the university will be conducted the admission process. All the candidates are requested to download the GU PG Merit Lists 2018.

Gauhati University Counselling process

After declaring the merit list the university will conduct the counselling process to get admissions into various PG courses offered by the Gauhati University. Based on the merit list the GU counselling process will be done. The counselling process will be held from July 28th on wards. Candidates who are eligible are able to attend for the GU PG counselling 2018.Candidates carry all the documents without any fail.

 

Weightage of Marks

Traditional Courses

Students with a Bachelor Degree from Gauhati University

  • 50% weightage will be on the marks secured by an applicant in the qualifying examination (i.e. Bachelor Degree examination) and 50% weightage will be on the marks secured in the GU Entrance Test.

Students with a Bachelor Degree from Other Universities

  • 100% weightage will be on the marks secured in the GU Entrance Test.

Interdisciplinary Courses

All Students (with Bachelor Degree from either Gauhati University or Other Universities)

  • 100% weightage will be on the marks secured in the GU Entrance Test.
